The project ‘WAVE II – What about democracy education, participation and the transfer of european values in the context of intercultural youth social work’ and its seven partner organizations promote democracy education and the teaching of European values in the practice of youth social work. The aim is to develop suitable democracy education offers for and with young people – especially those with a migration background – within the framework of youth social work and to support specialists and youth social work providers with innovative methods of democracy education.
Making democracy education and European values accessible to all
The WAVE II project opens up opportunities with further developed and new educational offers that provide the target groups of youth social work with low-threshold access to offers for democracy education and European political education. With practical educational concepts, we strengthen social inclusion and opportunities for young people to participate. European values form the basis of our political education work.
